Penn State Lehigh Valley students in Associate Teaching Professor of Arts Administration Elizabeth Flaherty’s Intersections Between Art and Psychology course collaborated on a chalk mandala created on the campus grounds. The initiative was led by student Angi Sayid for her final research project.
Penn State Schuylkill hosted the 2022 Penn State Eastern Regional Undergraduate Research Symposium on Saturday, April 23. The event featured research from dozens of students across seven campuses: Penn State Abington, Brandywine, Hazleton, Lehigh Valley, Schuylkill, Scranton and York.

After serving as a full-time lecturer at Penn State Berks for the past six years, Debra Dreisbach was recently hired to be the program coordinator for Penn State Lehigh Valley's new Criminal Justice program. Prior to her career in academia, Dreisbach spent 25 years in federal law enforcement, serving as a special agent with the Office of Inspector General, FBI and Secret Service.

Internationally recognized scholar Marijana Grbeša Zenzerović of the University of Zagreb in Croatia will return to Penn State Lehigh Valley on Thursday, April 14, to deliver the lecture, "Communication in Times of Crisis: A Critical Take on the Pandemic and War in Ukraine." Grbeša Zenzerović served as the campus’s first visiting scholar and professor during the Fall 2018 semester.
Eileen Grodziak, instructional designer and adjunct lecturer at Penn State Lehigh Valley, is always looking for unique ways to engage students in her First-Year Experience courses. During the fall 2020 semester, Grodziak and students collaborated with the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence on a research article on first-year student engagement during COVID-19.
